Epiphany (noun): - a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.
not sure what to make of that definition, but the way i see it, an epiphany is as simple as a realization. I just had an epiphany as to why i ranted for so long in my last post summed up to one simple word: Fear.
It seems to me that this realization is a familiar one; one that I had already realized before but maybe denied.
But now I know. I'm scared of facing the truth, scared of growing up and scared to see the truth in me; all my faults that I've beaten myself over to the point where I couldn't face them and all my virtues I never really acknowledged and supported.
So, time to find courage.
